The restaurant was not so well attended. In this Corona time optimal but incomprehensible. The food is prepared absolutely perfectly with heart and skill. Not too much, a total treat. It was a very nice evening for us. Thank you and good luck to you!

I am absolutely thrilled !!!! I've been there 3 times now and the quality of the food was great every time !! Very nice service, really attentive! Price / performance is also balanced! So far, everyone I've recommended Brecht's to has been grateful for the recommendation, and I will definitely go back and recommend it to others!

Food and ambience right on the Spree very good - a star deduction because the meat was not medium but only slightly pink. Quality but still very good

Sitting outside in good weather is very nice. The tables are relatively close. If there are large groups in the restaurant, it will take much longer to serve the food for simple dishes. (2 fries and pizza)

For me it was a disappointment. The location is great, bottled drinks are good, but I don't order anything from the kitchen. There are much better restaurants in this price range. Location and decoration are not everything.

Just wanted to have a drink, we were told at the beginning that we could only stay 30 minutes. After that, our two drinks lasted over 15 minutes! Only after the waiter noticed us did he realize that the drinks were missing. We had to wait another 10 minutes before we could pay. Admittedly, the place along the Spree is very nice, therefore 2 stars. Conclusion: First they wanted us to leave quickly, in the end it took forever until we could pay. (and got our drinks)

Slightly increased prices, but justified by the quality of the food. Great service. All in all, highly recommended, especially on special occasions.

There were two of us there and both of us decided on salads and loved it. Absolutely well presented and really tasty. The hummus was really tasty. The waiters were also very friendly and attentive.

Very very good steaks. Specially the Irish dry aged roast beef. Nice that they have Brooklyn Beer there ( west coast IPA). The staff was nice although they were very busy as the day I was there the crazy anti-mask protesters where all in the region.

Eaten well, didn't have to wait long even though it was busy. Burger and spare ribs were tasty and well cooked. Control could sometimes come along a bit more often but was not disturbing at all

Prepared Perfectly! Steak

We went to Brechts for dinner tonight. We can recommend the steak tasing without reservation. Meat prepared to the point, nice ambience right on the water. The staff improvised skillfully and routinely with special requests. We ate very well. A successful, atmospheric evening. We will be back.

Parking lots are nearby. Super great staff, lovingly decorated, nice outdoor space on the water. The food is of a good quality and tasty too.

The steak was very good. The fries a little soft. The salad tasty. I think there were too many guests for really good cuisine. Will try again in winter.

We were there last Saturday on August 1st, 2020 and sat in the outdoor area. The steak and side dishes were amazing. The young man in service was great too. The only complaint we had was that the waitress had swapped my steak for my husband's, mine would be medium rare and my husband would be medium. We didn't find out until we were almost done. I definitely recommend the Brechts to anyone looking for fantastic food that is well worth it.

We arrived at the steakhaus at 7:30pm and ordered by 7:50p.m. We didn’t receive our food until 8:40, and the order was completely wrong. We didn’t order anything fancy. We ordered a cheeseburger with meat and cheese only, teriyaki burger with lettuce and teriyaki sauce only, and 2 steaks. All of the order was wrong. Another member of a family that was with us didn’t receive their food until everyone was already finished eating. It was a complete mess. They offered us complimentary drinks due to the order being wrong. I would not visit again.

Very bad experience, Kipburger was very cold and the same goes for the fries. Fries were tasty for 5 minutes and then chewy. Hamburger should be medium but was almost well done .. Furthermore, the service was very slow and uninterested .. Finally, the price was already expensive and they gave themselves an absurdly high tip (about € 10) ... Not recommended !

Brecht's steak house in Berlin Very nice restaurant close to the Spree, with indoor and outdoor areas. Quite well designed, heated places in the outside part. Staff attentive and quick when ordering. Unfortunately it changes when serving, after about 25 minutes, the starter / starter came to the table after you wanted to go. Appetizer was eaten, and after another 42 minutes the main course came. Very tasty and tasty food, but does not outweigh the waiting time. Not that the restaurant was very full is probably due to the kitchen. As a consolation there was a coffee and dessert before free. Margharita was more like a tequila shot. a burger with teriyaki sauce won’t be my favorite burger and the pasta had a lot more cheese than tomatoe sauce. i don’t recommend it.

Brechts Steakhaus, while it says on this page that there is no dine-in option currently, is open and people are able to dine there. Both inside and outside are available. We chose a seat outside as the views are lovely. I gave 4 stars for the overall experience as the food was amazing, as well as the atmosphere. However I did feel that there may have been only a small number of staff, as the food was slow (however delicious when it arrived and worth the wait) and the waiter took some time to come to our table (but he never stopped working, he was so busy). A good place to go if you want to treat yourself.

The fillet and sweet mashed potatoes with beans was perfect.

Good food and good service

The dates in bacon are absurdly delicious; the grilled salmon was the best I've ever had, and I had a glass of Spätburgunder that blew my mind. Definitely check this place out!

Very good restaurant! Waiters are nice and food was very tasty! We took the basic burger and asked for it to be "medium". Took around 20-25 minutes to get the food and It was little bit to the "well" side and that's why I rated 4 stars. Beer was great! Not cheap but worth the price.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Worst hallumi burger I ever had, it was really burned but that was not the worst part. The worst part was grilled zucchini and aubergine that were really stiff, dry and tasteless. Also, even though it was almost empty, we waited forever. Probably because they have just one person working outside.

Be careful - sneaky SCAM restaurant. They charge plain 10% tip without saying and it is not mentioned on the menu. When you want to give them tip they don't mention that it is already included. When you realize and tell them they just smile. Service is in general bad. E.g. you need to ask for a steak knive. At least the filet steak was mediocre. Oh and a bottle of water costs 7.50 euro and it was already open - so I leave that without comment. Just go somewhere else.

Worst service, awful coffee and a very bad cheesecake, even if it looks great.

Bit expensive and food not wow

We made a reservation. When we arrived on time the table was not available. After a wait we got a table... but NO FOOD. After asking twice for our order we got a shady story about ‚ventilation issues‘. You can’t help defects. But you need to tell the guests. After further wait we left.

The food is ok but this is not a tasteful old Brecht. The interior is dominated by food smell.

Nice atmosphere. Food was good. Good service.

Nice meal but the waiter was quite rude and ignorant. Not only this but they mixed up my sister’s rib eye for my mother’s rump steak, also rib eye was rather grisly and fatty for what it was. Not only this, but my tenderloin was blue/ black rather than medium rare. We also tried to make an attempt at complaining but were ignored by the waiter! I can say though, that I did thoroughly enjoy my steak, despite it being heavily undercooked, however I think the rudeness of the waiter and his ignorance will stop me from ever making a revisit to this restaurant.
